Day 1	Chiang Mai – Golden Triangle (-/L/-)
08h30	Leave from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai via Doi Saket route.
09h30	Stop at the Hot Spring on the way.
10h00	Proceed driving passing beautiful countryside, villages and paddy fields to Chiang
	Rai.
12h00	Lunch at the restaurant in the city.
13h00	Transfer to Chiang Saen, an ancient town located on the bank of the Mekong River
	was originally called Wiang Hiran Nakhon Ngoen Yang and served as the capital of
	the Lanna Thai Kingdom until King Mengrai established Chiang Rai as the capital
	in 1262. Ruins of the old double city walls and many other antiquities remain both
	inside and outside the town.
14h00	Visit Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Pa Sak (a temple of Teak forest), important ruins
	temples of Chiang Saen, situated next to each other.
15h00	Experience a long-tailed boat on Mekong River for 45 minutes to the Golden
	Triangle.
16h00	Arrive the Golden Triangle, a meeting point of the Thai, Burmese and Laos
	borders, situated at the junction of the Mekong and Sop Ruak Rivers. Enjoy seeing
	the panoramic view over the three countries met from Wat Pu Kao.
16h30	Transfer to the hotel on your reservation (in the same area of the Golden Triangle).
Day 2	Golden Triangle – Doi Mae Salong – Chiang Dao - Palong Hill Tribe Village

07h30	Breakfast at the hotel.
08h30	Leave from the hotel by 4x4 WD to t Mae Sai, the Myanmese border.
09h00	Enjoy shopping Myanmese & Chinese items.
10h00	Drive uphill to Doi Mae Salong along the wildly road to Yao/Mien hill tribe village at
	Baan Lao Sib then, Akha villages at Baan Ar Le & Ar Sae before Lisu village at
	Baan Thaat.
11h30	Back to drive on the main road and continue to the summit of Doi Mae Salong.
12h00	Lunch at the Salima Chinese restaurant.
13h00	Explore around the Chinese settlement (used to be the Chinese Refugee Camp or
	93^rd Division of Chiang Kai Chek).
13h30	Drive downhill via Thaton - Fang - Chiang Dao.
15h30	Arrive Baan Pang Dang, Palong hill tirbe village in Chiang Dao area. In Thailand
	most of Palong people can be seen in the northern part of Chiang Mai province
	along the border to Myanmar (Burma). The number of population nowadays is
	about 60000 totally. In general, they can be found in Burma's eastern Shan State.
	They’re belonged to the Mon-Khmer branch of the Austro-Asiatic linguistic family.
17h30	Relax at the village by seeing different lifestyle and chitchatting with local people.
18h00	Dinner and overnight at the village (guide normally cook Thai food for the pax -
	sleep in the Bamboo cottage, dormitory room).
Day 3	Palong Hill Tribe Village – Pai – Tam Lord – Temple – Mae Hong Sorn (B/L/-)
07h30	Breakfast at the village.
08h30	Leave Palong village by 4x4 WD via Pai to Mae Hong Sorn.
10h30	Visit the biggest cave in Mae Hong Sorn called “Tam Lord” or Tam Nam Lord, is a
	400 m deep cave with a wide stream running through it. Formed by a small stream
	running through a crack in the limestone surface, which is home to many wonderful
	stalactites & stalagmites. In addition, Tham Lod is also the site of numerous
	archaeological finds. And take a short bamboo raft to see the ancient cemetery
	inside the cave.
12h00	Lunch at the local restaurant in front of the cave.
13h00	Transfer to visit Lahu hill tribe village at Baan Mae Lana.

14h00	Then, continue to a Fish Cave National Park (Tam Plaa in Thai). The name is a bit
	misleading because there's no cave that you can really go into but there’s a small
	stream emerges from the rock face of a hill which’s surrounded the park. However,
	there are definitely fishes, Big Brook Carps of a kind found only in a very few
	places in Thailand. The fish grows up to a meter (three feet) long and appear deep
	blue in color.
15h00	Proceed to Mae Hong Sorn, Thailand's Northern border city, hiding itself in
	between the towering mountains with densely forested slopes, stretching to the
	Burmese border, known for its charm of scenery and culture. The people of Mae
	Hong Sorn consists of the Shan who live in the city and the hill tribe people who
	live in the remote villages on the mountain tops where elements of lifestyle have
	changed little in hundreds of years.
15h30	Arrive and transfer to visit beautiful Myanmese style temples; Wat Jong Come, Wat
	Jong Klang, Wat Hao Wieng and Wat Doi Kong Moo for a panoramic view of Mae
	Hong Sorn as well as the countryside surrounding.
17h30	Transfer to the hotel on your reservation.
Day 4	Mae Hong Sorn – Chiang Mai (-/L/-)
07h30	Breakfast at the hotel.
08h30	Transfer to the Elephant camp in Mae Hong Sorn.
09h00	Experience 30-40 minutes Elephant ride through the jungle.
10h00	Take the boat trip on Pai River for about 45 minutes.
10h45	Drive along the bumpy road to visit Padong “Long – Necked” & “Big –Eared” tribes
	at Baan Nai Soi. They are one of the hill tribe who immigrated to live in Thailand
	since long times ago generally are very helpful, friendly and lovely. Women of this
	tribe wear brass rings on their necks and limbs. The numbers of the rings increase
	according to their ages. Their shoulders are pressed lower while their necks seem
	to be longer and longer.
13h00	Lunch at the restaurant in Mae Hong Sorn.
14h00	Transfer to Mae Hong Sorn airport for the afternoon flight back to Chiang Mai or
	the connecting flight to Bangkok.
